Junior Payroll Specialist

Location: Tel Aviv District, Israel

Responsibilities: 

  • Handling the entire Israeli payroll process (A to Z). including receiving, validating, and completing payroll-related forms and activities while compliance with schedule and providing the best service to the employee.
  • Handling onboarding and terminations processes.
  • Continuous updates of Hilan payroll system and employee’s data base.
  • Act as a focal point on payroll related questions and requests – in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Successfully maintaining internal and external work interfaces – HR, Finance and Admin teams, Insurance Companies, official authorities etc.
  • Calculation of the monthly salary of the company's employee. From collecting all the necessary data through accurate updating and production of reports and controls in accordance with required standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a payroll specialist.
  • Payroll controller diploma and attendance in tutorials and seminars.
  • Deep understanding of personal income tax, labour laws and social benefits.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency with payroll-related systems and software –MS Excel (must), Hilan (preferable).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, Customer service oriented.
  • Strong personal ethics.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop in the payroll field.
  • Motivated, fast learner, and responsible.
