Cato Networks is seeking a NOC Engineer to join the team. In this critical role, you will be monitoring, supporting, and providing advanced troubleshooting of a large complex data network infrastructure by using network monitoring and network management tools. You will work closely with teams from our business areas, network engineering, and management as a team representative on major incident bridges

This REMOTE position must be based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the company's production system uptime and functionality, this will include troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve various system/network issues.
  • Engage, investigate and escalate if required on Netops Alerting during working hours and follow up on alerts from off hours.
Track & monitor system status and identify both areas of concern and growth opportunities

  • Mitigate outages and system malfunctions to make sure no customer effect and prepare escalation by priority/urgency for DEV teams.

  • Engage with 3rd party service providers for resolution of network/system issues. (e.g: carriers, SMS providers, etc,)

  • Provide higher tier system support for the company's customer support T1-3.
Follow up on IX provider communication to expand and optimize the company's network’s internet connectivity.

  • Create dashboards and alerting for the company’s system functionality.

  • Be a focal point for the company’s support/field Eng. by understanding the business use cases.

  • Be a part of building, improving and expanding the company's NetOps ownership.This role will mainly be triggered by automatic alerting (system alerts) for investigation and escalation as required, and by support.

  • This role will have also ingoing projects and task to handle and complete during his working hours.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Highly experienced in Network architecture, cloud architecture and security architecture
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Networking TCP/IP, Firewalls and Proxy Servers
  • Ability to read applicative system logs and search for relevant root cause for issues
  • Troubleshooting: Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve network issues.
  • Experience working with a Cloud, SaaS technology provider
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic environment with a willingness to manage multiple simultaneous projects
