Cato Networks Appoints Sylvain Chareyre as Vice President of Sales Engineering, EMEA

Paris, France – February 22, 2024 – Cato Networks, the leader in SASE, announced the appointment of Sylvain Chareyre as Vice President Sales Engineering EMEA. In this new role, he is in charge of the pre-sales team in the EMEA region as well as recruiting talent in order to develop the teams in the various countries and support Cato’s EMEA growth. He is also responsible for evangelizing Cato Networks’ solution to future customers and existing partners. Sylvain Chareyre supports the pre-sales teams, particularly in terms of decision-making and for Go-To-Market strategies. 

Sylvain Chareyre has been at Cato Networks since 2019 and was the first sales engineer in Southern Europe to join the company. He was then appointed to the position of Director of Sales Engineering EMEA, which he held for more than two years. He reports to Mark Bayne, Vice President Sales Engineering Worldwide at Cato Networks.

Before joining Cato Networks, Sylvain Chareyre spent more than eight years at Citrix, as Lead Sales Engineer – Networking & Security and also as Sales Manager for the South-East France region. At the start of his career, he held the position of Network, Telecoms & Security Manager at Flow Line Technologies.

Sylvain Chareyre holds a DUT diploma in Telecommunications and Network Engineering, as well as a Master in Computer Science from the “Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers.”
