In mid-2022 two large US accounting firms, Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) and BKD, joined forces to create Forvis, a $1.5B business ranking #8 in the top 100 US accounting firms. Forvis is a merger of equals, with a total footprint of over 70 locations and more than 5,000 employees. Rationalizing the networking, security, and remote access infrastructure of both organizations and creating a common architecture presented a unique challenge.
Our guest, John Bowels, is the CIO of Forvis that previously served as the CIO of DHG. Join us to hear about the path taken by John, the IT leader of the newly formed Forvis, to bring together both organizations into the SASE platform used by DHG since 2019. This is an on-going and multi-faceted endeavor involving cultural, operational, and technical change.
If your company growth strategy involves mergers and acquisition or if you are facing an upcoming M&A project – this episode is a must listen.
